唐突ですが、100円ショップを英語で何というでしょう？

答えは、”dollar shop” (dollar store) です。

“One-coin store”はどうでしょうか？

日本の100円は硬貨（コイン）なので、「ワンコイン」が100円と同義ですが（500円玉のケースもありますが）、米ドルですと1ドルは紙幣になりますから、「コイン」は当たらないのでしょう。

“Dollar store”もコンセプトは日本の100均とほとんど同じで、その商品には安かろう悪かろうのイメージがつきまといます。

これを書いている最中にも、某100円ショップで文房具が回収というニュースが入って来ました。
