各メディアが伝える最新情勢によれば、支持率ではトランプ氏がバイデン大統領をやや上回っているそうです。

しかしながら、両陣営が神経を尖らせるのは、トランプ氏、バイデン氏いずれも支持しない、有権者の投票行動です。

いくつかの記事で、

double haters

という言葉が目に留まりました。

トランプ氏再選は望まない、さりとてバイデン氏も頼りないし続投は嫌だ・・・、そういった有権者の存在を"double haters"と呼んでいるようです。

日本の選挙でもよく「無党派層」の投票行動が注視されることがありますが、同じようなものでしょう。

記事によれば、こうした"double haters"には、トランプ氏に幻滅した共和党支持層、パレスチナ問題でイスラエル寄りなバイデン氏を批判するリベラル層に見られるといいます。
