先日も取り上げたところですが、中国発の人工知能（AI）、ディープシークが突如として躍進、米国ハイテク株の急落を招くなど、市場を揺るがす事態となっていますが、その実力のほどはメディアでも様々に報じられており、毀誉褒貶相半ばのように見受けられます。

アプリのダウンロード数では首位に立ったようですが、中国製ということではやはりセキュリティやプライバシー保護の観点での懸念が拭えません。

CNBCの記事によれば、TikTokのようにアプリ利用の禁止になるのも時間の問題と言われているようです。

Through keystroke patterns, a DeepSeek user can be tracked across all devices, information gathered from advertisers, and DeepSeek could also seek to leverage cameras and microphones, according to Pearl.
