米テキサス州のダラス・フォートワース空港で、女性が突如として素っ裸になり、職員などに襲いかかるという乱痴気騒ぎがあったということです。

素っ裸（naked）になる、という表現ですが、"birthday suit"は以前取り上げました。記事ではもうひとつ、

in the buff

という表現が使われています。

この"buff"という単語は、〜通、〜マニアという意味があるということで以前取り上げたのですが、ここでは"naked"の意味、つまり裸という意味です。

"buff"はそもそもバッファロー（buffalo）を約めたもので、牛のなめし革のことですが、淡黄色の革の色というのは素肌の色にも似通っていることから、"in the buff"は裸を意味するようになったそうです。
