暴走族対策はオーストラリア国内でも課題のようで、取り締まりのための法整備や厳罰化が検討されている模様です。


The majority of Queenslanders say they have "strong or very strong" support for the state's anti-bikie crackdown but more than half feel legitimate businesses and regular citizens may be unfairly affected.

Results of an internal Queensland Government survey, obtained and published by the ABC, consisted of 1200 people polled in Brisbane, Gold Coast and other Queensland regions.

According to the respondents, recreational riders (73.2 per cent), businesses (58.7 per cent) and law-abiding citizens (53.2 per cent) were considered to be at risk of unfairly falling foul of the laws.

However 57.1 per cent of people said they felt strong or very strong backing towards the Newman Government's stance against criminal bikies - an increase of nearly 10 per cent since December. There were also 21.8 per cent of people who said they had moderate support in June.
