パジャマ ― slumber

寝巻きのことをパジャマと言います。英単語でも"pajamas"（単複同形）と言いますが、これはペルシア語起源の単語です。寝巻きを現す単語に"slumber wear"という単語もあります。

"slumber party"というのは、“パジャマパーティー”と訳されます。

パジャマパーティーというのは、中学生くらいの仲良しが友人の家に泊まって寝巻きで過ごすパーティーのことです。
