たばこと塩の博物館を訪問しました。小学生の豚児が学校で招待券をもらってきたのがきっかけなのですが、なかなかに興味深い展示でした。

夏休みシーズンとあって家族連れで賑わっておりました。お盆休みの週は天候不順で今日は所々で強い雨が降り、行くまでには難儀したのですが。

ということで、今日は塩（salt）に関する表現を取り上げてみたいと思います。

アメリカでは来週21日に皆既日食（total solar eclipse）が観測できるらしいですね。というわけで、来週にかけての天気予報が天文ファンならずとも気になるのですが、ワシントンポスト紙の記事では雲がかかる地域の予想を発表しています。

と定義されており、日本語で言うと、眉に唾してかかる必要有り、というのに近いでしょうか？

マユツバは騙されないようにしなくては、という意味合いがどちらかというと強いと思われます。ここでは意味合いとしては、鵜呑みにしない、というのに近いと思われます。
