～逃げ ― xxx and dash

上記では引用を中略していますが、後半を読んでいただくと、"gas and dash"が意味するところが明らかです。つまり、給油所でガソリンを給油して（gas）、代金を支払わずに逃げた（dash）、

勘の良い方はこの表現を見て"dine and dash"という表現を思い出すのではないでしょうか？

これらの用例を見るにつけ、xxx（動詞）に"and dash"がつくことで、”～逃げ”、という意味になるということができそうですが、コーパスを検索すると、"dine and dash"に引き続いて多いのが、"gas and dash"で、その他は見当たりません。
