"not your cup of tea"という表現がありますがどのように使われるかご存知でしょうか?
If you'd asked me a couple of months ago, I'd have said I'd seen " Gone With the Wind " three times - once with commercials, once when I was barely paying attention, and once on a 19-inch TV. The first time I considered myself too smart for it I was a teen-ager; the second time I thought it was a likable soap opera; and the third time I thought it was a fine movie, but not my cup of tea.
(San Francisco Chronicle, 2010.)
興味がない、熱心ではない、という意味で用いられるフレーズです。
Collins Cobuild Dictionary of Idiomsでは下記のように定義されています。
If you say that something is not your cup of tea, you mean that you do not feel very enthusiastic about it or interested in it.
