men in blue

“Men in black”ではありませんが、”Men in blue”で警察官の意味があるそうです。

An NYPD sergeant was harassed by his brothers in blue because he’s Egyptian, he claims in a lawsuit.

Higher-ups at Staten Island’s 123rd Precinct allegedly harangued Kappa Farid, 54, for his Arabic accent, called him “sand monkey,” refused to let him speak at meetings and switched him to a midnight tour against his wishes — prompting his wife to ask for a divorce, according to the Brooklyn Federal Court lawsuit he filed against the city and the NYPD.
