最後に天気予報での用例です。

これは予報士のコメントでよくあるパターンで、寒くなってくるこの時期に、気まぐれのように温かい日があったりしますが、その「気まぐれ」を指しています。

なかなか多機能な単語のようですが、まぐれという意味での"fluke"の語源は「不詳」とされています。
