記事のタイトルを読んで、そしてその写真を見て笑ってしまいました。

Kmartには前科がありますので、さもありなんという気がしますし、意図的なものさえ感じます。

Slouchy Comfort Pantsという名称で売り出しているそうですが、"slouchy"とは、「だらしがない」、という意味合いです。

快適（Comfort）なのは、だらしがない（slouchy）からでしょう（！？）

A pair of pink track pants have caught shoppers’ attention for all the wrong reasons after the baggy crotch area was described as resembling female genitalia.

A photo of Kmart’s “Slouchy Comfort Pants” were shared to the Kmart Hacks & Decor Facebook page along with the caption: “Marketing fail.”

The loungewear item features a baggy crotch area for comfort, causing excess fabric to ruffle and fold in the area.

While the original poster didn’t explicitly explain why the design of the pants featured a faux pas, it didn’t take long for comments to pour in, many dubbing the garment as “vagina pants”.

形容詞の"slouchy"は、前かがみ、またうつむいた姿勢という意味の"slouch"（名詞、もしくは動詞）から来ていますが、"slouch"自体の語源は不詳となっています。

バブル期前後に流行ったイージーパンツ（というのか、部屋着のだらしないズボン）を思い出しました。
