強盗や銃撃事件などの犯罪率が高いニューヨークシティで最近問題になっているのがイヌのフン（糞）だそうです。

散歩をさせている飼い主のマナーの問題として、警察が取り締まりに乗り出したとか。

罰金は250ドルだそうです。

"poop"も幼児語ですが、どちらかと言うと"doo-doo"よりもなじみがあります。
