恐らく中辞典以上、大辞典でないと載っていないかもしれませんが、"ute"は"utility truck"のことだそうです。

ランダムハウス英和では、オーストラリア、ニュージーランドの表現だということです。アメリカでも使われることがあるようですが、上記引用はオーストラリアのメディアからのものです。
